Acquisition of Eurocontrol B.V.

The Alex Stewart Group is pleased to announce that it has agreed to acquire 100% of the shares of Eurocontrol B.V. The agreement has been reached with the proprietor of Eurocontrol, Mr. Ron Nijman. The legal formalities for the transaction are scheduled to complete on the 28th of February 2008.

Eurocontrol is a long established family business incorporated in the Netherlands. Its primary field of activities is the provision of marine inspections and surveys to a wide client base. Eurocontrol will be acquired by Alex Stewart BV (formerly known as Alex Stewart International Corporation BV) and will relocate after completion of the transaction to operate from the Group's premises at Nr. 58 Geyssendorfferweg, Rotterdam. Eurocontrol's activities and operations will be merged with Alex Stewart BV's marine and steel scrap activities. After completion of the transaction, Eurocontrol will trade as a division of Alex Stewart BV.

The acquisition of Eurocontrol provides Alex Stewart with a strong market presence in field of marine inspection and surveying in the Netherlands. The Alex Stewart Group network enables Eurocontrol to extend its geographical service offering to its customers.
