//Laboratory Expansion - Alex Stewart Mongolia

The Alex Stewart Group is delighted to announce that it expanded its analytical capacity in Ulaanbaatar to include a full service Coal Analysis laboratory and multi-element analysis for geochemical exploration.  The new laboratory is capable of preparing and analyzing samples for Carbon, Sulphur, Calorific Content, various physical tests including grindability and trace element analysis by Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICPOES).  

For geochemical exploration the new laboratory can analyse samples for a large suite of elements by aqua regia and multi-acid digestion followed by ICPOES and various wet chemical techniques.  

The laboratory has been commissioned by our international team of chemists and uses methods developed and tested in our accredited laboratories in Ireland and Rotterdam.   As part of our ongoing commitment to Quality and Service, the laboratory is currently working toward ISO/IEC17025 accreditation.
